Washington Marriott - 1221 22nd Street NW202-872-1424 -may be expensive but it's attached to LuLu's. Several hashers stayed here last year and it got good reviews. Close to 2 metro stops and Dupont Circle, pubs, restaurants and shops.
Hostelling International -Washington, DC - 1009 11th Street NW 202-737-2333 or DChostel@erols.com - $19-21/night. Close to Metro Center station (blue, orange and red lines). Have no idea what it's like but what do you expect for $19 a night?
One Washington Circle - 1 Washington Circle, NW 202-872-1680 or 1-800-1680 -$99 weekend web rate at www.onewashingtoncircle.com - 2 blocks from LuLu's. Right across Washington Circle from the Foggy Bottom station on the Orange Line.
Hotel Harrington - 11th and E Streets NW -1-800-424-8532 -$84 single, $94 double. http://www.hotel-harrington.com close to Metro Center station. Near all the touristy stuff - Fords Theater, Hard Rock Cafe, the Mall.

Comfort Inn Van Dorn - 5716 S. Van Dorn Street.703-922-9200. -$59-159. .5 miles to Van Dorn Street station (one stop from the full mOOn hash), shuttle bus runs in a 2 mile radius (shopping, eating,metro). Close to PPV's house even though I'm not telling you my address!
Comfort Inn Landmark - 6254 Duke Street. 703-624-3422. -$59-115. Shuttle to Van Dorn Street station. IHOP on premises.

Comfort Inn Ballston - 1211 N. Glebe Road.703-247-3399 -$69-169. Close to Ballston Metro stop (orange line), shops and many good restuarnts (hash hangouts like Carpool). Nice hotel, my parents have stayed here - great location for a great price.
Best Western Key Bridge - 1850 N. Fort Meyer Drive.703-522-0400 -$69-135. Rosslyn metro stop on the Orange and Blue lines. Walking or cheap cab distance to Georgetown/Washington Harbor. Many hash hangouts in the area.
